Empowering Indigenous Futures
At Haileybury Rendall School, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. As a recognised Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Education, we are committed to empowering First Nations students through exceptional educational opportunities, personalised support and pathways to lifelong success.
With more than 170 Indigenous students, representing 17% of our school community, Haileybury Rendall School provides an environment where students are known, valued and inspired to thrive. Our unique approach offers both a mainstream academic pathway and the Ochre Program, an intensive Literacy and Numeracy program designed to accelerate learning and build confidence for students transitioning from remote communities.
Our students achieve outstanding outcomes, with proven success in NAPLAN and strong VCE completion rates, opening doors to further education, training and employment.
Beyond the classroom, students are supported through dedicated wellbeing initiatives including Clontarf, Stars, and our Indigenous Wellbeing Team, ensuring they are academically, socially and culturally supported throughout their journey.
Every student also has the opportunity to discover their talents through our outstanding Instrumental Music Program. With expert music educators and access to high-quality tuition, scholarships can help provide Indigenous students with the opportunity to learn an instrument, develop confidence, express their creativity and experience the lifelong benefits of music. Y
our support can transform a young person ' s future. By funding an Indigenous scholarship for a Year 7 student, you are investing in education, opportunity and leadership, helping to close the gap and create lasting change for generations to come.
